Hello fashion bedding lovers, blog post readers, and everyone in-between!

My name is Alexis Buono, but friends, my parents and two little brothers tend to call me "Lex." I hail from the beautiful city of Pittsburgh, which is home to my favorite sports team, the Pittsburg Penguins.  I am currently a sophomore majoring in marketing at The Pennsylvania State University, but plan to venture to the busy streets of NYC after graduation.  My minors include international business, because I plan to travel the world, and Chinese, because I love learning new languages.

My biggest accomplishments include becoming a Sephora VIB Rogue member (the highest level of spending one can reach at Sephora), and a Starbucks gold cardholder.  Although Starbucks will always be one of my favorites, I have an obsession with trying new little cafes around town! I like my coffee with a few pumps of vanilla flavoring. Italian food and the warm state of Florida hold special places in my heart, and I like my donuts with frosting and rainbow sprinkles.

Fashion has been a huge part of my life through high school and college. I started a fashion club in high school which opened a lot of opportunities for me. I am currently in the works of producing a fashion TV show here at Penn State! My love for fashion is what attracted me to 41 Winks! I love how 41 Winks uses runway fashion and trends as inspiration for bedding, decorative pillows, and throw blankets! I have an obsession with throw pillows, and 41 Winks has just about any throw pillow you could ever want on their website! Growing up I watched all the home and decorating shows on HGTV with my mom (Hi mom). I never thought I would have the opportunity to work hand-in-hand with a fashion bedding website! As a 41 Winks Ambassador, I have had so many opportunities and have learned so much already.  I can't wait to see what the rest of the year has in store for me!
